Price
$30.00 per hour, $120.00 if paid monthly (not dependent on number of weeks)
$15.00 per half-hour, $60.00 if paid monthly (not dependent on number of weeks)
$20.00 Music Packet-One time fee for Suzuki book & CD, To Learn With Love, Rhythm practice CD.
$20.00 equipment purchase-includes chin rest and shoulder rest.
$5.00 for ensemble class, second family member $2.00, third free.
$10.00 per month for instrument rental.
Make-ups
It is really important not to miss lessons because progress happens with consistent input from the teacher. If we have to miss a lesson, we will contact you for suitable make-up times. If you miss a lesson, please check the website for openings and try to find a time and contact us.
Contract
This is about putting music first, right after church, family and school work. Time and again, I have had really talented students and parents who wouldn't make the commitment to practice and show up for lessons on a regular basis. Violin is a tough instrument that brings incredible fulfillment when regular progress is made. There is only one way to do that; regular practice, regular lessons......and then you can have the fun of playing with other people. If you aren't willing to make this commitment, please don't try the violin. It is too hard on your children and on me.
